Introducing the HEX.3Cv2

With the release of the plateless 75% (HEX.4B), Hex Keyboards are pleased to bring you the next iteration of their signature Plateless O-ring mount in a 60% form-factor. The 3Cv2 pays homage to the good ol' days where a humble PCB was all you needed for a great keyboard.

Plates? Never heard of em’

3Cv2 features a 1.2mm PCB (Powered by Mechlovin’) that sits on 8 Viton O-rings, spaced out evenly across its surface area. This method of mounting makes a plate unnecessary, while providing a comfortably flexible typing experience.

Compatibility

Even though this board is designed to be PCB-mounted, it is compatible with most universal 60% plates on the market. The PCB is also alps compatible too. MX/Alps compatible plates in limited layouts are available from the page. 

Underglow

Aside from providing a distinct sound signature, the sandblasted polycarbonate bottom case also provides great diffusion for some tasteful (or not) underglow RGB action.
Regardless of your preference, there will be 20 RGB LEDs under the PCB at your disposal. Use them as you please.
